Obadiah Hunter and his wife, Latisha Hunter, are passionate about helping others. They are both driven by a desire to make a positive impact in their community and in the lives of others.
Mr. and Mrs. Hunter believe in the philosophy of treating others like you want to be treated. They have been in the business of helping the less fortunate for decades. Their combined background includes many years of motivational speaking, volunteering at youth programs and juvenile centers; hosting workshops and retreats, and spending time with the elderly at hospitals and convalescent homes.
It was placed upon Mr. Hunter's heart to provide a service of equipment for the disabled after he experienced his first heart attack - and then a second one! He also heard the stories of other patients and empathized with their difficulties. He identified with the barriers that many people face in having little to no support while needing expensive equipment on their journeys to healing, both emotionally and physically. They discovered that there is a lack of cultural awareness in local services and hindered access for minorities and people who are underpaid and disadvantaged.
Mr. and Mrs. Hunter understand that most people find themselves in this position suddenly and unexpectedly without any warning. Many people are not prepared for this type of life-changing dynamic and don't have adequate savings on hand for mobility equipment in such devastating circumstances.
Since the inception and launching of Omni Unique Mobility, Mr. and Mrs. Hunter have prudently and discerningly built a dedicated team with like-minded individuals who are equally fervent in fulfilling this vision.
The idea is to show dignity and compassion to people when they need it most.
We welcome you to join us on this journey as we strive to make the world a better place!
